Koh & Associates (Firm No.: AF 1032) is an audit firm registered with Companies Commission of Malaysia and Malaysian Institute of Accountants to carry statutory audit of various entities as required by Laws.
We commences with the establishment of responsibilities – your task is to ensure that systems of procedures and controls are in place which are adequate to facilitate the preparation of the Financial Report, and to prevent and detect fraud should it occur.
Our task is to carry out our audit in accordance with approved Standards of Auditing in Malaysia with the objective of expressing an independent opinion as to whether a set of accounts as prepared by the Company’s director, are in a true and fair view manner in accordance with the financial reporting framework.
We do that by:
- Carrying out structured audit methodologies, within the bounds of materiality, that:
- Assets are included in the Financial Report at their recoverable values
- Liabilities have been brought to account;
- Expenses are genuine costs of the business;
- Incomes to which the business is entitled have been accounted for;
- The Financial Report is properly prepared and presented using appropriate Accounting Policies and Standards.
- Testing those systems to determine whether they are working as planned;
- Evaluating your internal controls that are relevant to the Financial Report to ensure the system is auditable;
At the conclusion of the audit we normally issue a "Management Letter" setting out the matters that arose during the course of our works and give recommendation where necessary.
